ahhh!...... malas nyer !

Not malas actually, but too many things ... too little time.  Sometimes I wish there would be 48 hours in a day.  But can our body stand it?

I have neglected my blogs for far too long.  nak tutup..... sayang.  Sometimes it feels good to meluahkan perasaan kat sini.

So how??  Just let it be lah. 

Kalau angin rajin I datang lagi, will visit you again dear blog... actually lots of happening to share..just don't feel like doing it now.

Bila Tupai nurun ke kebun...

Bisi sekali last year, Endu Tupai di bai mak ngau aba ngabas kebun seduai di Peniko.  Laban ka ngangkut bala sida papan kena ngaga langkau.  Mentang mentang si Tupai bisi Ilax, nyamai meh kena berangkut.  Sebagai upah nyer, alu ngangkut pulai segala macam sayur especially my peberet timun betuk. yess...peda timun sempat ku gumpul.  Tok lah first time meda this timun in its natural state.  Selama tok meda ba tamu aja.  Deh..indai..kasih mai... Adeh.... pedis mai asai bejalai ba kebun...enda teleba.. :)

2012 The year of reunions

I'm talking about re uniting with school mates & class mates.  Some are of the same batch, most are of different batch.

It was always exciting when it comes to reunions.  Some of them still look like when I last saw them.  Only the hair has become less (I'm talking about the boys.  hehehe)   Others have change (a lot)... others have matured beautifully....

Whatever it is, I always look forward to see them especially those from Tanjong Lobang College or Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Hj Bujang, Miri.  TLC has always been dear in my heart.  May be because I was a boarder there for two years.  So the experience is not only limited to classrooms but dorm life as well.

March 2012.  I manage to meet up with two senior sisters; Annie and Roni. (Annie was in Lower 6 and Roni upper 6 when we met in TLC.)  We met at Shukie.  Roni works in KL; Miri is her hometown.  Annie lives and works in Limbang.  The funny thing was none of us knew where Shukie is.  But somehow we found the place.  The micro re u was full with food and laughter and of course photo taking.  Asai ngai pulai...

May 2012   I went to Kuching for a training.  Lo and behold.... I had a mini re u with school mates from TLC again.  We all congregate at James Brooke cafe.  Thanks to Unjil, who organised this.  (the guy in grey shirt).  A wonderful experience ... food?  ok lah... can do.  hehehe.  My first meeting with Flowrese after 30 years.

August 2012  Re union again.  This time on a quite a grand scale.  The principal (Cik gu Adi) came.  He always come for our reunion.  Semoga Tuhan panjang kan umur nya for more reunions to come.  Gloria came from Kuching.  Some friends came from KL.  There is one who came all the way from USA.  wow...  We had a tour of TLC during daytime;  I was wishing to myself that if I can come back to kolej again, I will study hard this time.  hahaha.. dolok...wow.... lawan tokay punya orang..

When I joined the 2010 re u at Kolej, I did not take any picture in my old classroom.  This time I made sure I did.  voila!!..... this is me in my old classroom; form 4 Sci E with my classmate and best buddy Thony.  yeah..yeah.. my best buddy happen to be a boy.  hehehe..  wah...cannot describe the nostalgic feeling I had that day.  I have one regret which I still carry to this day... I had potential, I'm not stupid but I did not study hard... I played around a lot... Thank God I passed my MCE.  My best buddy did get a degree though. (jeles me).

That night we had dinner at Imperial Hotel.  These are the people who came.  All dressed up to the occasion.

September 2012   Another wonderful surprise.  Received a text from my classmate Tumar.  Saying that she's coming to Miri for a workshop.  I asked her to meet me at my work place. The first time I see her after 30 years.  She came in a Police uniform.  I request her to do that.  Wah... unbelievable!!.. my classmate is now Assistant Superintendent of Police.  She's based in Kuching.  Am so proud of her.  We chat in my office lobby and she gave me the hp no of another classmate who is now Superintendent of Police at Bukit Aman.  Aduhai!!...banyak nya kawan aku jadi Polis.  hahaha

September 2012  I went to KL to attend a training again. And guess what??... I met up with my 'real" classmates.  Meaning those actually in the same class with me in 1983.  That was 30 years back.  Look at them now.  The one standing next to me is the Superintendent of Police.  hehehe... So good to meet him and the rest.  Semua pegang jawatan besar yuuu... I feel like an ikan bilis. The one in purple shirt became Mr Sponsor.  (Gaji enda ambih empa).  apa lagi..tak da crita lain..crita pasal kisah kat sekolah dulu lah.

So.. you see... why I said 2012 was the year of the reunions?? 

I thank God that he has given me the chance to meet up with friends.. be it childhood friends/ classmates/ school mates.  And it has also help me to make more new friend with school mates that I never got a chance to meet while at TLC.

Hope to see many more reunions to come.

Aba terima bintang....

Non of us siblings knew about it.  That's how secretive Dad can be.  On 17 Jan 2013, while browsing through FB as usual, Tupai was pleasantly surprise to see a picture of Mum and Dad at Sis Kesulai home.  And the caption on the picture was "Entua terima bintang" posted by my brother in law.

Nya..neh..alu begau kami se madi laban nyak. Alu tag mengetag pangan diri ba pisbup.

See... bukan main lobing maya take photo.  Smart gitu my Dad.  We are all so proud of him.  He deserves it.  He did a lot of contribution to his people at Kampung Bersatu from the day the kampung started with no basic amenities to now with almost everything available; clean piped water, electricity, balai raya.

My Dad is a firm, strong and brave person who does not hesitate to speak out his mind and never gives up.  I hope to inherit that character.  hehehehe....

Selamat Taun Baru 2013

Endu Tupai is back again after a long break of almost a year.  Have been busy facebooking and attending to commitments both business and personal.  Endu Tupai wants to slow down this year.  And realised that she missed blogging.  Lo and behold, in this new year, she has created a brand new blog, with a brand new name.

Welcome to Tupai Talks.   Endu Tupai has apparently turned 'ribai"... ahaks....!!
